Delores P. Robinson - St. Benedict the Moor Church in Savannah
Delores P. Robinson is a life-long member of St. Benedict the Moor parish, Savannah. She retired from the Economic Opportunity Authority (EOA) as a teacher in the Head Start program. Mrs. Robinson is married to the love of her life, Mr. Edward M. Robinson for sixty-five years now, with six children and many Grand and Great grandchildren. Mrs. Robinson is a woman of great faith and spirituality who is dedicated to serving her Lord, her family, and her church. She believes deep down within her in the Church as the body of Christ, and she leaves no stone unturned to see that there is peace and unity among God’s people, especially her parish family. She works diligently in many ministries and organizations in the parish to build up the body of Christ. Every child is Mrs. Robinson’s child, and for her, the formation of the younger generation is the key for the future. She has spent nearly thirty years as a Catechist, teaching children in the Faith Formation Program, not only the Catechism of the Catholic Church, but also manners. Mrs. Robinson is one of the founding members of the Friends of St. Benedict the Moor, a group dedicated to raising funds for the youth and other needs of the parish. Mrs. Robinson lives a life of faith service and humility. She has passed these virtues on to her progeny as well as to the children and youth of St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church. Mrs. Delores Robinson is the bridge between the young and the old. She is loved and respected by all.
